I haven’t blogged in sooo long
 
Hey Everyone...
 
I don’t know if anyone comes on here anymore, but I thought I might blog again. It’s a Friday night, I’m here at home... not working cause I worked all day... doing nothing... bored and tired.
 
We’ve had a crazy few weeks here at home... but things are slowly settling down...
Uni is pretty busy at the moment, I have 2 assignments due next week. One on phonics in reading and writing and the other designing a short unit for a child with a disability. They are pretty much done now which is good.
 
Church stuff is also quite good. Kidz club is coming up so now I am just starting to get busy with that. I keep thinking of things I need to do, but I’m very tired so I’m not really doing much.
 
I have a recent like for the TV show Gilmore Girls... it’s very good... Rory has awesome fashion sense... *sigh* wishes for things she doesn’t have... then thinks about contentment.
 
Actually! That brings me to my next subject. I’ve been learning a lot about contentment with my life over the past while. Lots of reading over summer has amazed me. I read this book called “Beyond Greed” by Brian Rosner. Apart from being a bit dry in some/most sections it was very good and I learnt a lot about possessions and since then I’ve found it much easier not to spend money on myself... in fact.... life has gotten cheaper.
 
Now I am reading a book called “Overcoming Overload”. Bec bought it for me at Summer Camp ’06. It’s very good I’m learning a lot there too.. It’s all about how to overcome overload in the modern world. Talks about the Sabbath, Bible Reading, Prayer, Contentement/Simplicity and a few other things. I’d highly recommend it... $5 BARGIN!
 
*Has a moment of excitement*. I’m just listening to a song called “Step in Time” from Mary Poppins the musical. Which reminded me that it’s coming to Australia! I can’t wait! Wheeeeee!
Phantom of the Opera is coming too *whispers to Bec* *closes Sarah’s eyes*.
Also Michael Bublé is coming to Oz too! Next year is gonna be awesome! Also the fact that I finish uni next year is awesome!
 
Anyway I’m gonna go. Peter and I are gonna watch Gilmore Girls I think..
 
By the way! Guess what!!! Me and Jono are going out again... :) He is cool :D
