A delivery for Jen
I have so much news to catch up on... but this post deserves one of it’s own.
I got a delivery to my door today. It was a long skinny box tied in a green ribbon - but let’s back track a little.
Here I am at home sitting sewing with my knee resting on a chair (more about that another time) and I see a van pull up. So I think, “ahhh a parcel has arrived for Andrew”. So I get up to the door before the dogs realise and there is a man holding the box as described above. He goes... “delivery for Jennifer Yager”... my face goes bright red, jaw drops....
“That’s me” I say.
“Well then!”, he says “These are for you”.
“I see” I say as I realise the box says ‘roses only’. I sign for the package and bring it inside.
I open it up and discover a rose and a card. The card was from my ‘secret admirer’. Then the phone rang so I distractedly have a conversation and then further open the box.
It is a beautiful champagne rose. My mum and I have a good giggle and then I embark on the quest to find out who on earth send this! I know now :) I’m super chuffed... I think my mum can’t believe the smile on my face.
They have to be one of the sweetest persons on the planet!
